Alexandra Rizio graduated with honors from Columbia University in May 2006, where she studied English and Comparative Literature and Human Rights. After graduation, Alex worked for the United Nations’ International Labor Organization in Bangkok, Thailand, where she provided programmatic support for a project that leads HIV-prevention initiatives in workplaces across the Asia-Pacific region.

Alex has previously served as an intern for the William J. Clinton Pediatric HIV/AIDS Initiative, as well as for Physicians for Human Rights. During her four years at Columbia, she was also a leader for various student-run community service organizations, and a photo editor at the Visual Media Center for Art History.
