Prior to joining the ICTJ, Marina held accounting positions in retail. At present, Marina is a student of the College of Staten Island, CUNY, where she’s majoring in Business Management and Finance. Formerly from Moldova, Marina attended an academy that was governed by the President of Moldova. At the academy, she majored in public administration and international relations. She also attended the Moldavian State University, where she majored in finance, accounting and business law. In 2000, Marina won an English language and communications competition which allowed her to study and live in Los Angeles, California for one year. Marina is fluent in Russian, Romanian, Moldavian and Polish.
