Carla Fajardo has worked on peace and reconciliation programs in Northern Uganda and Burundi. In Burundi she worked with the Civil Society Transitional Justice Network, established in 2006 to support and the transitional-justice process in Burundi. She was the coordinator of the Reparations Unit at the Peruvian Truth and Reconciliation Commission. She holds a BA in sociology and an MA in conflict transformation.
