Special focus: DRC

Olivier Kambala wa Kambala holds a degree in law from the University of Kinshasa. He is currently completing a master’s degree in international criminal law from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and has specialized training in post-conflict peacebuilding. Since 2001, he has worked in the struggle against impunity in the DRC, as well as for the ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. He worked for two years as a program officer with the Belgian NGO RCN - Justice et Démocratie, and as a campaigner for the UK-based Global Witness.
