Brahima leads ICTJ’s work on criminal justice in Côte d’Ivoire and advises on truth seeking and reparative justice. Before joining ICTJ’s Côte d’Ivoire Office in 2012, he worked as a program associate for the Ivorian Movement for Human Rights (MIDH). He also served as local consultant for several international NGOs such as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and the International Federation for Human rights (FIDH) and has conducted field surveys on human rights violations in Côte d’Ivoire. From 2004 to 2007, he worked with a group of lawyers on a program providing legal assistance to victims of human rights violations in Côte d'Ivoire. Bamba is a jurist by training and holds an LL.M. from the University of Bouaké. He also holds degrees in Business Administration and Marketing.
