Christopher is the Country Program Director for Kenya. An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, he is particularly interested in constitutional law, transitional justice, and alternative dispute resolution. Christopher has been instrumental in advising Kenya’s Department of Justice on the establishment of a reparations program. Previously, he served as a program officer for the Human Rights Program in the Kenyan Section of the International Commission of Jurists. He also advised Kenya’s National Police Service Commission on key legislation including the 2015 National Police Service Regulations on Vetting, the National Police Service Regulations on Recruitment and Appointment, and the National Police Service Regulations on Discipline. Christopher holds an LL.B. from the University of Nairobi, an LL.M. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a post-graduate diploma in International Mediation from Queen Mary. He is also an accredited mediator.
