Ethiopia’s Abiy Says He Wants to Quickly Roll Out Eritrea Deal


Over the weekend the governments of Ethiopia and Eritrea signed a peace deal and formally declared that the “state of war” between the two countries was over. This follows decades of on-again-off-again conflict and tensions. Leaders from the two countries announced that diplomatic, trade, transport, and communications ties will be re-established and borders re-opened in the coming weeks.
