ICC Judges Order Jean-Pierre Bemba’s Interim Release


Former Vice President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Jean-Pierre Bemba was acquitted and offered interim release by judges at the International Criminal Court. This decision overturns his conviction by the court two years ago for war crimes and crimes against humanity that he and his private army allegedly committed by his private army in the neighboring country of Central African Republic.
