Claudia holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Universitat Ramón Llull and a Master of Advanced Studies in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.

Before joining ICTJ, Claudia served as project officer at Reds, where she worked on a project aimed at finding strategies to get local governments involved in advocating for the international protection of human rights. Simultaneously, she also worked at Musol, where she co-managed and implemented a project that sought to raise awareness and introduce the Sustainable Development Goals as well as the human rights and gender perspectives in the strategies and activities of cultural institutions.

Claudia has also been involved in different transitional justice projects. In 2022, she worked at swisspeace, where she supported a project that sought to accompany the Colombian diaspora in its participation in the country’s Truth Commission. Prior to that, she also worked with other organizations in Switzerland, Spain, Germany and the US supporting projects focused on human rights, disarmament and peace.
