Emma Merritt-Cuneo

Programs Expert

Emma provides technical and substantive assistance and input to ICTJ's country programs and contributes to the coordination, conceptualization, and implementation of ICTJ's programmatic work and projects. Before joining ICTJ in 2018, Emma worked for Room to Read, an international nonprofit dedicated to improving literacy and gender equality through education, where she contributed to its fundraising efforts and special events. Before that, she worked at Camfed (Campaign for Female Education), where she provided development and technical assistance to Cama, Camfed’s alumnae network. Emma holds an M.Sc. in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science where her research focused on the contributions of artistic and cultural initiatives to transitional justice goals. She also holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Sweet Briar College.
