The Bosnian state court on Wednesday found Momcilo Tesic, a wartime military policeman with the Bosnian Serb Army’s Vlasenica Brigade, guilty of committing a crime against humanity for killing 17 men from Srebrenica area in the village of Mrsici in the Vlasenica municipality on July 13-14, 1995.

The indictment said that Tesic and other members of the Vlasenica Brigade manned a Bosnian Serb checkpoint in the village of Luke and stopped vehicles transporting Bosniaks there, stealing money and jewellery from them. Tesic, together with others, took some of the captured men to the village of Mrsici, where they were shot and their bodies robbed.
