New York, September 11, 2025—ICTJ is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors: Ms. Nina Lahoud, Ms. Rajakumari Jandhyala, and Mr. Max Gleischman. “These three individuals bring a wealth of expertise in law, economics, diplomacy, and strategic communication to ICTJ. Their diverse perspectives and proven leadership will help steer ICTJ as it continues to support victims, strengthen institutions, and foster inclusive societies in the aftermath of conflict and repression,” said Chairperson Robert Cusumano.

Nina Lahoud is a lawyer and gender justice advocate with over four decades of work experience at the international level. Over her 33-year career with the United Nations, she held senior positions in six UN peacekeeping missions, where she advanced legal reforms, gender justice, and peacebuilding and development initiatives. A pioneer in integrating gender expertise into peace operations, Ms. Lahoud has helped lead the implementation of the UN Women, Peace, and Security agenda. Ms. Lahoud also serves on the Global Leadership Council of Seeds of Peace and the Advisory Board of PassBlue.

Rajakumari Jandhyala is the co-founder and CEO of YAATRA Ventures, a private investment firm focused on economic infrastructure in power, energy, technology, natural resources, and transportation. An economist with more than 25 years of experience, she has worked in both public and private sectors. As a diplomat at the U.S. State Department, she led negotiations on landmark peace and security agreements in South Sudan, Sudan, and Chad. As a senior advisor to numerous governments in Africa, she helped shape national security policy, ceasefire agreements, security sector reforms, and post-war reconstruction.

Max Gleischman is a Partner at McKinsey and Company, where he leads global strategic communications. Over the years, he has advised governments, CEOs, and nonprofit leaders on high-stakes communications and government affairs. He has also served as communications director to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power and to U.S. Senator Dick Durbin. Mr. Gleischman is a committed advocate for human rights and justice.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Nina, Rajakumari, and Max," said Executive Director Fernando Travesí-Sanz. "In a time of unprecedented attacks on human rights and democratic institutions, their collective expertise will keep ICTJ at the forefront of global discussions about justice and accountability.”
