This briefing paper details and analyzes the progress made so far in Tunisia to implement its historic Transitional Justice Law, with a particular focus on the Truth and Dignity Commission, created one year ago. The paper chronicles the pitfalls that measures have needed to overcome in a changing environment, where waning political support is threatening the country's transitional justice agenda. Important recommendations to the Tunisian government and civil society are intended to help guide the process forward.
